The Vikings downed the Crusaders, 25-21, 25-15, 25-16, and the Lions topped St. Mary’s, 25-18, 25-8, 25-6. Madi Christensen had five kills and three blocks and went 5-for-5 at the service line and Sarah Thisted went 7-for-7 serving against Hosanna Christian. Against Mazama, Katie Rietmann, Christensen and Thisted each had three kills apiece. Ashley Rietmann added 12 assists for St. Mary’s (9-9). Football CAMAS VALLEY 62, BUTTE FALLS 0: At Butte Falls, Jimmy Kinyon had six tackles and three sacks and Isaac Tiry recorded six tackles and rushed for 36 yards for Butte Falls during District 2 action. The Loggers (1-4, 0-2 Dist. 5), who trailed 40-0 at halftime, lost six fumbles to Camas Valley (1-3, 1-1). Raleigh Weaver had 15 kills and Destinee Ault six kills for the Loggers (7-4, 3-2 MVL), who recorded 91 percent serving. PROSPECT SWEEPS: At Prospect, Prospect defeated Chiloquin, 25-10, 25-20, 25-15, in Mountain Valley League action before downing North Lake in nonleague play, 25-16, 25-17, 25-16. Against Chiloquin, Baley VanWormer had five kills and 26 digs and Jordan Kuykendall recorded nine assists while going 19 of 21 serving. Against North Lake, Chrystyna Smith registered 11 kills, Savanna Breiholz was 12-for-12 serving and VanWormer added 16 digs and was 15 of 17 serving for the Cougars (9-6, 2-1 MVL).
