[File photo] The Josephine County Sheriff’s Office is urging voters to watch for the arrival of their ballots after stolen mail that included ballots was found in the Rogue River. On Friday, a resident reported finding mail in the Rogue River near the Robertson Bridge boat landing northwest of Grants Pass. Some of the mail included ballots. The mail was addressed to rural properties on Paradise Gardens Road and Greentree Loop north of the bridge, the sheriff’s office said. “The Josephine County Sheriff’s Office would like to remind everyone to stay vigilant and report any suspicious activities regarding the theft of mail,” the sheriff’s office said in a press release. Josephine County voters who haven’t received their ballots by Wednesday should call the Josephine County Clerk’s Office at 541-474-5243, the sheriff’s office advised.
