She was born October 26, 1947 in Nampa, Idaho. She grew up in Caldwell, Idaho and graduated from Caldwell High, after which she had several jobs but most important, she worked at the original Sandpiper Restaurant in Boise. In 1978, she transferred to Medford to work at the newest Sandpiper utilizing her restaurant experience and bookkeeping skills for them. She was a valued employee for several years. Her next position was with the Southern Oregon Orthopedic Clinic where she worked for the past 30 years. She made many dear friends there and will be sorely missed. Claudia will be remembered as a fun-loving and charming companion who took great pleasure in her friends and in caring for her home and garden in Medford. She loved to travel and enjoyed trips to Mexico and Europe and returning to Idaho to visit with her family. Survivors incude her mother, Norma Tyson; brothers, Robert Tyson (Gayla), Charles Tyson, and Dennis Tyson (Rogean); sisters, Sandra Kuckler (Joe) and Susan Sherrill; sister-in-law, Bonita Tyson; and numerous nieces and nephews, all of whom will miss miss her dearly. She was preceded in death by her father, Eugene S. Tyson and a brother, Norman Tyson. Friends are hosting a celebration of life at 4:00 p.m. Sunday, December 7, 2014 at Valley View Vineyards. All who knew Claudia are welcome.
