John Edwin and Betty Lou Drysdale of Medford will celebrate their 70th anniversary June 13, 2018, with a family gathering. John is a retired music educator and director of band and orchestra of 30 years for Medford High School. He attended University of Oregon where he obtained a bachelor’s and a master’s degree. Betty was a volunteer at Rogue Valley Medical Hospital, an avid gardener and a homemaker. John and Betty were married June 13, 1948, in Eugene. They have two children, Robert Drysdale and Christine Karchmer; two grandchilden, Ryan and Travis; and four great-grandchildren, Hannah, River, Reece and Madison. John and Betty have enjoyed their years of retirement, spending time with family and friends.
