We here at Since You Asked thought we’d been dealt a pat hand when initial inquiries elicited some, "Yeah! I’ve heard that, too!" comments. We were ready to bet on The Big Story. But what seemed like a royal flush has panned out to be nothing more than an ace high — at least for now. Advertisement Turns out the possibility that secret someones are seeking to build an tribal casino somewhere in the vicinity of Gold Hill has been bandied about for at least six years. But federal requirements for tribal registry and other financial and logistical hoops have kept this story off the front pages. Until and unless something happens (and we hope we’ll be the first to know if it does), this is a trash hand. But we do have one informational ace up our sleeve.
