Eagle Point hosts Veterans Day commemoration By Mail Tribune staff Updated: Nov 10, 2021 05:33 PM A A Veterans are asked to meet outside Eagle Point City Hall starting at 10 a.m. Thursday, and after some socializing time they will begin a walking parade to Centennial Plaza, which is near the intersection of East Main Street and North Royal Avenue. People are encouraged to stand along East Main Street, which will serve as the Avenue of Flags. The ceremony will commence at Centennial Plaza at 11 a.m. Scheduled guest speakers include Jackson County Commissioner Colleen Roberts, U.S. Rep. Cliff Bentz and Dave Holt, Veterans Administration director, White City.
