Murder suspect had Internet porn collection 17-year-old accused of rape, murder of a 5-year-old girl he was babysitting GRANTS PASS -- Investigators want to find out how a 17-year-old boy accused of raping and strangling a 5-year-old girl he was baby-sitting got such an extensive collection of pornography on his home computers. Josephine County deputies served a warrant to examine David Case's e-mail server after an examination of his two home computers turned up 57 sexually explicit images of children and more than 700 pornographic pictures of adults, according to court documents. "It's our goal to find out where this stuff originated," said Detective Jim Mason. Possession of child pornography is a felony. Case, a 280-pound high school dropout, is charged with three counts of aggravated murder, first-degree rape and sodomy in the Sept. 5 death of 5-year-old Elizabeth Sinclair. He is being held without bail pending trial. If convicted, he could be sentenced to life in prison without parole. He is too young to be eligible for the death penalty. According to affidavits filed in support of search warrants, the victim's mother, Joanne Sinclair, picked up Case at his home the night of Sept. 4 and dropped him at her trailer to care for her two children overnight while she visited her estranged husband. Before she left she picked up pizza and paid Case in advance. Around 12:50 a.m. Sept. 5, 7-year-old Jesse Sinclair discovered his sister's body and called 911. Case snatched the phone away and allegedly confessed to the dispatcher that he killed the little girl. When officers arrived, Case was standing outside waiting for them. Case's parents told investigators they had seen their son downloading sexually explicit material off the Internet, according to court documents.
