Participants are entitled to three samples of wine and a drawing from a card deck from noon to 5 p.m. Saturday and Sunday, June 18-19. The participant who ends up with the best poker hand wins dinner for two at Amuse restaurant in Ashland (up to $100 value). The 12 next-best hands each receive a gift certificate from one of the participating wineries. Tickets can be bought in advance at any of the wineries for $29, and at the door for $35. Maps are available at each winery. The Bear Creek wineries are Ledger David Cellars, DANCIN Vineyards, RoxyAnn Winery, Pebblestone Cellars, Stone River Vineyard, Aurora Vines, Paschal Winery, Trium Wines, Dana Campbell Vineyards, Grizzly Peak Winery, Weisinger Family Winery and Belle Fiore Winery. DANCIN Vineyards will be closed Saturday, June 18. If 12 wineries in two days sounds challenging, Bear Creek Wine Trail passports are available at each of the wineries. Passports entitle participants to three samples of wine at each of the 12 tasting rooms and are valid for one year after purchase. Passports cost $25. For more information, visit www.bearcreekwineries.com or enquire at any of the wineries. Email Daily Tidings intern Caitlin Fowlkes at [email protected].
