SHRI R.K. BHARATHI MOHAN (MAYILADUTHURAI): Hon. Deputy-Speaker, Sir, everybody should get everything; poverty should be wiped out of this 
country under the able guidance of hon. Dr. Puratchi Thalaivi Amma. 


I urge upon the Union Government to set up FM Radio Station at Kumbakonam in my Mayiladuthurai Constituency of Tamil Nadu. Already the DD's 
relay station set up is there in Kumbakonam. We can use this transmitter and the buildings to set up FM radio station. Since building and land is 
available with transmitter, installation will not require huge funds. There are a lot of villages around Kumbakonam and the main activities of the 
villagers are agriculture and fisheries. So, the FM station will serve the needs of all the sections of the people. So, I urge upon the Union Government 
to set up FM radio station as early as possible at Kumbakonam city. Thank you.
