The 5th Annual Lavender Film Festival will
open on Friday evening, September 17th at
G:sU0pm, “at the Colorado Springs Fine Arts
Center, 30 W. Dale Street.
One of the Festival offerings that will be
of interest to KCME listeners is "Callas
Forever," by director Franco Zeffirelli.
The film tells the story of one of the last
projects undertaken by opera diva Maria
Coplecmin thisetictionalvzed account.
"Callas Forever" will be screened on Sunday
afternoon, September 19th at 2:30pm, preceeded
by a-short fidm.
