Operational Notes 





If the MP3 player will not be operated for aprolonged period, remove the battery 
to avoid possibledamage caused by electricalleakage. 

The MP3 player should be kept in areas freefrom extreme temperature changes, 
moisture and dust. 

Set the HOLD switch to release position before operation 

Do not dropthe player 

Battery life may vary depending on usage condition and manufacturedate. 
Please change the battery under Low Battery indicator displayed. 

Do not use the player for a very long periodin order to protect your audioability 

If the playerstopsrunning under properoperation,please reset by taking out battery. 
Do not use player when driving or cycling. 

The optimum temperature for operation is 5 -45 degree Celsius(41F-95F) with 
humidity between 10%and 75 %.

need of battery change. Turn off the machine before ee

Turning the power on/off 





The OSD with green backlightappears when “EQ/REC” button is pressed. The lengthof time for the 
backlight to stay on isdepending on user setting. Switching thepower off by pressing onthe function 
key button continuously.When themachine has idled for awhile, auto power off willactivate according 
to the time set byuser. You can set “Disable” function to let machine cancelthis function.

Functional Options 





Music playing, voice playing& recording, radio function 

Press “Menu” to select music mode. Thenpress “Menu” again to confirm playing music(machine will 
automatically switch back to musicmode if no operation formore than 10 seconds). You can play Mp3 and 
WMA format files inthis mode. LCD displays “music” as:

Press “Menu” button into music mode. Pushthe function button to “+” to select voice mode and press 
“Menu” button again to confirm this mode. It is the same procedure transferringfrom “voice mode” to 
music mode. LCD displays voice as:

Press “Menu” button into music mode. Push the function button to “+” toselect FM Tuner mode.Press 
“Menu” again to confirm FM Tuner mode. Press “Menu” button into music mode.

Start Recording 





Under Voice Function,press “EQ/REC” button to start recording (build-in Microphone, 
microphone's position can beseen on P.2). The display isas follows:

Press "EQ/REC" button again to stoprecording. 


Play Recording 





The operating procedure isthe same as operatingmusic files (Ref. page11). 
(Display reference in Page13) 





Note: "A-B" repeat functiononly works in playingor pause mode. Userscannot use 

this function in recordingor stop mode. 

Press "EQ/REC" for awhile and then userscan adjust the “EQ” mode in play/stop/pause 
status. Users cannot usethis function in recordingmode.

Push the function buttonto “ p» ” or “ <4 ” to fine tune. Bypressing “EQ/REC” button for a moment, 
the machine will memorize thecurrent radio frequency. Ifyou want to repeat theauto search function, 
press function button until “PRESET” appeared on the screen,then Push the function button to “ >>” 

or “ 44” to activate the auto searchfunction again. Similarly, ifyou want to fine tuneany channels, you 
onlyneed to press function buttononce till thE “PRESET” disappeared from the screen. You may now fine 
tune the channelby press the “EQ/REC” button for a while.

E Operation of FMfiles in PC 


When the USB connectionbetween the mp3 playerand PC has completed, you can find thatthere is 
a folder called “FM” in the player.Inside you can findthe recorded FM files. Just like other music 


files, you can rename, copy or delete the Recorded FM files.

4.Operation on recordedmusic files 





Connect the player with PC by a USB cable. Youmay find a folder called “LINE In” inthe flash 


memory of mp3player.Inside you can find the file you have recorded. Like common music files, 
you may also play/rename/copy/delete the file.
