Just, I just asked him in person if what he said was true the night before and he said it was. I started crying a little bit and said he wishes he hadn't done it. I and then kept going around him. Just doing stuff I think to keep himself busy or distracted or something. >> And did he talk about what he was going to do next? >> The Charlie Kirk murder case has taken another dramatic turn. Conservative commentator Candace Owens is now accusing federal authorities of framing Tyler Robinson after explosive testimony from Lance Twiggs was played in court. On day four of Robinson's preliminary hearing, prosecutors played a redacted video interview of Lance Twiggs, Robinson's former roommate and romantic partner. In the recording, Twiggs said Robinson admitted he carried out the shooting, cried the following day, and said he Prosecutors also presented alleged text messages in which Robinson reportedly wrote, "I had enough of his hatred. Some hate can't be negotiated out." Investigators say Robinson also admitted planning the attack for more than a week. Candace Owens, however, rejected [music] the prosecution's narrative. She claimed investigators merely photographed [music] Lance Twiggs' phone instead of seizing it as evidence, calling the handling of the device [music] deeply suspicious. Owens also criticized the court for allowing prosecutors to present messages that, she argued, the defense had not been allowed to independently authenticate. Owens questioned Twiggs' credibility, noting he testified he had never heard Robinson discuss Charlie Kirk or LGBTQ issues before the shooting. She also mocked Twiggs identification of Robinson from surveillance images, arguing it relied largely on clothing and appearance rather than definitive evidence. These are Owens allegations and have not been substantiated in court. Defense attorneys had opposed the public release of Twiggs interview, arguing it could prejudice any future jury by presenting what they described as an untested narrative. Judge Tony Graff allowed portions of the interview and text messages to be shown after ordering several redactions. The judge also emphasized that the preliminary hearing is only to determine whether there is enough evidence for the case to proceed to trial, not to decide guilt or innocence. >> And agent Davis, who are we seeing here? >> That's Tyler Robinson. >> And although we are watching it on video, what is he wearing at this time? >> He's wearing a a dark colored baseball cap with a has like a looks like a maybe the hoodie symbol on it. Like a white symbol on front. It's a burgundy short sleeve shirt with no graphics. >> And to both parties, I thank you. I appreciate that. Do both parties anticipate any issues concluding their case? Obviously, there's variables, cross examination, and kind of the fog of war that happens in court proceedings, but any party anticipate issues concluding at or before Friday at 5:00 p.m. >> Not from the state, judge. >> Just want to highlight one issue for the court because it may be um that the court wants to do some time management. Um the state is going to proffer a video 1102, a video recorded 1102. We have provided the state, I want to say about a day and a half ago, with proposed redactions because we believe that portions of it are not admissible even in a preliminary hearing. And the way we did that is we provided a transcript and then a redacted version of the transcript of the entire video recorded interview. It may be that the court wants to look at the proposed redactions not while court is in the session, but during some other period of time because the transcript of the video uh which we prepared and we provided to the state so the state could raise any concerns about the accuracy of the transcript. That's not an issue. Um the admissibility of portions of the video are the issue. It's about 20 pages. It may be 22 pages. So, to use court time for the court to look at the proposed redactions may um be an inefficient use of of the time. I'm not telling saying when the court should do it. I'm just saying we may not want to do it between 9:00 and noon and 1:00 and 5:00 tomorrow or Friday. >> Thank you, Your Honor. >> Okay, what are we seeing here, Agent Hall? >> Uh that's the vehicle that is believed to belong to Mr. Robinson driving in the parking garage on campus. >> And at what time in the morning is what what what time of the day? >> Uh it's approximately 8:30 in the morning on September 10th, 2025. >> And and what leads you to believe that this particular vehicle belongs to Mr. Robinson? >> Uh information uh that was provided um in regards to driver's license and Department of Motor Vehicle records. The vehicle fits the description of a vehicle owned by Mr. Robinson. >> Is is there anything unique about that vehicle that stands out to you? >> Uh the the shape of the vehicle is is very distinct, but predominantly the wheels were very distinctive on this uh version of the vehicle. >> Now, what do we see? >> Uh the driver of the vehicle exits the vehicle and then uh walks on foot to Uh that's the individual in the the red T-shirt and the shorts and the shoes. >> And do you believe you recognize who that person is? >> Yes. >> Who is that? >> I believe that's Tyler Robinson. >> All right. And where does he go from there? >> Uh he heads out of the parking garage on foot uh into the campus. Um and actually goes to the quad area of the campus. Uh that time he makes contact with uh some representatives from TPUSA. >> By quad area >> Sorry, the the amphitheater is is what I previously referred it to. >> All right. So, he goes up on the campus, visits the the the amphitheater area, the courtyard or quad. >> Correct. >> Um and and then what do we see here now? >> Uh he returns on foot back to the same vehicle. >> And what time is he returning back to the vehicle? >> And where is this parking structure located on campus? >> Uh it's it's just off of Campus Drive. Um it's a a short walk from the from the amphitheater. >> What do we see now? >> Uh that's the vehicle exiting with Mr. >> Now, what do we see? >> This is Mr. Robinson returning to the campus on foot from um the neighborhood to the northeast. You can see he's wearing the same clothing as in the previous video. And he's carrying a blue backpack. >> Describe the clothing. >> Uh it's a maroon colored t-shirt uh with uh gray or olive colored shorts and then >> And what time did he return to campus? >> Uh just after 10:00 a.m. >> And does he leave the parking structure eventually? >> Uh he does, yes. >> Okay. And during this visit, do you know where he goes after he leaves the the parking structure? >> Yes, we're we're able to track his movements on campus. He went to Chick-fil-A um in the Sorensen building >> Mhm. >> and purchased some food, sat and ate the food. Then I'm sorry. >> Where did he purchase the food from? >> Chick-fil-A in the Sorensen Center. >> And and where is that in relation to the the amphitheater or the the courtyard? >> Uh it's it's kind of on the northeast side of the amphitheater. It would be um on the on the upper back edge of the amphitheater, furthest away from where the tent was that Mr. Cook was in. >> And from there, where does he go? >> Uh from there, he moves uh across campus uh out across campus drive uh into a wooded area on what would be kind of the northeast side of campus drive. Um then returns back onto campus um we noticed at this point that he's no longer carrying the backpack that he was originally wearing. Uh he moves through the Gunther building and the computer science building. >> And then >> I'm sorry. >> And then goes where? >> Then goes across the to the the railing that gives access to the roof of the Lucey building. >> And from there? >> Uh from there he comes uh back down the stairs and uh walks off campus from that point.
