Has the "Great March of Return" been successful?
It has now been more than a year since
Palestinians began the "Great March of
Return" protests. They were originally
planned as a six-week non-violent campaign
by Palestinians demonstrating at the Gaza
border fence with Israel. Instead, weekly riots
have been staged with "peaceful protestors"
throwing rocks, burning tires, setting off
bombs, launching rockets and incendiary
devices and seeking to sneak into Israel to kidnap soldiers and

in our shared values and interests, and the
overwhelming support of the public. This does
not mean, however, that money has no
influence on politics; otherwise, no one would make political

community, which includes many non-Jews, plays by the same rules
as everyone else — and the amounts actually involved may surprise
