I would love be apart of the Rwanda project because I feel I will be an asset to people's lives. Though I have not started to complete my community service hours, I am a person who helps others on a regular basis. I feel that going to Rwanda would be a wonderful experience for me. It will be an opportunity for me to give back to the world that has given so much to me. Many people say they would like to take a trip to Africa during there lifetime. Some of the people who go to Africa go with the intentions of only having a good time and enjoying themselves. I want to go to experience a new culture while help give aid to those in need. Some feel that tshile helping others it can only benefit the person on the receiving end but it can also help the person who is giving. It can show them that something so simple to them can make a huge impact on someone else's life. It can also make them get a better appreciation for the things they possess and lake advantage of. On the trip to Africa I plan to become more educated about the state their in. Therefore, when I return 1 can become an advocate and better direct people about their needs. Africa is in a terrible situation and for a country that gives so much to the world I find it unacceptable and disturbing. I feel it is my mission to help make it better in any way that I possibly can. Every bad day that I encounter I remember that someone else is experiencing a day much worse than mine. I hope that you see me as a candidate for the Rwanda trip and that I will be able to excel in the best way possible towards this project.
