BEACON is a superior offering in the legendary 38 EASTBAY Series and just coming up for sale this
spring of 2015. Owned since new by an experienced yachtsman she has not only been maintained to
the highest standards but she has also seen fastidious and constant upgrades. New Awlgrip Flag Blue
Hull, New Canvas Enclosure, New Bottom (including a full stripping of the old bottom paint), New
Raymarine Electronics Package: BEACON is believed to be the finest 38 in existence. Her upgraded
high gloss interior varnish combines with the Hereschoff styling of the interior to create an
exceptionally high end classic feel to the time spent on board. Thirty eight feet has always been
viewed as a perfect size because it can be easily handled by one person or a couple, and is easy to
dock and even though she has relatively few hours on her engines, BEACON has been to Nantucket
and back several times, and is big enough to run in the roughest seas.
>BEACON has a custom larger master berth with better access, extra headroom above standard and
an upgraded wheel: just so many other thoughtful details make her special.
>BEACON was one of the few 38's built with the Yanmar 440's. These engines make her the fastest
and quietest 38 available. The 440's deliver cruising speeds in the high twenties and top speeds well

into the low thirties with an exceptionally quiet level. The owner spared no expense in his recent total
upgrade to the engines in addressing the turbos and aftercoolers. She also has other essential
components and equipment, including NC, generator, microwave, Glendinning synchronizer.
Make no mistake: BEACON is a joy to behold. Please come and see for yourself...BEACON will
impress!
