In 1014, kr. A. F. Kehr began his career, by oreing the firet
picture shaw in Ogallala. Ho christened his s ow the "Cenr which

extra seats, and gave the community the very best pictures available.
Et. Fehr kept up witl the moving picture industry by installing the
latest equipment available from time to tire.
The first two years having been a great success, Er. Kehr moved
one block south, installing now equipment, and also increasing the
seating capacity to 150. 4.e name me changed to "The Princess."
In January, 1030, the Kehr failv opened the "Prairie," a luxur-
ious theatre and one of the finest in the country, wit:. all the very
latest and most practical equipment money could buy. ae pride Mr.
Eehrls theatre as being on an equal with the theatres in the larger
cities.
Enny of the pictures are silvan here before release dates in Omaha
and Donver.
'he building, eonstructed of Lndicott and Farenwall brick, is 50
by 120 feet; the attic is 20 by 30 fa t, with two curtains, one blue
and one gold with Damask stripes. The 552 comfortable seats are

uphristered in black leather and black and rust velour.
The roomy balcony will seat 56.
In the front part of the building on the second floor are the
lounges, the office, and the projecting room.
The sound equipment is the new R. C. A. Victor rhotophone high
fidelity, the same equipment in the two super theaters in Rockfeller
Center, row York City. The R. X. C. kozy, and the worlds largest
and most modern equipped show houLe in the world, the radio City
Music Eall.
The hith fidelity repoduces the hvaren voice without the mechanical
tones which are so lacking in character.
The temperature and humidity ia maintained by a system of automatic
dampers and thermostats.
