be piloted in the nearer term than quantum
computing.
3. Begin implementing pilotable quantum
sensing use cases such as high-precision
medical imaging (use case 5), quantum
enhanced diagnostic imaging (use case 7)
and detection of cardiovascular diseases (use
case 4) today, and apply the same techniques
for detection of Parkinson’s disease and
foetal arrhythmia for future implementation.
These pilots offer high feasibility and business
value, allowing organizations to lead in early diagnostics and precision medicine. Immediate
deployment of these pilots will enhance
healthcare outcomes and lend a competitive
edge to early adopters.
Decision-makers should start executing quantum
technology projects to ensure the evolution of the
R&D departments and the completion of industry
digitalization. More customized treatments and
better patient monitoring (customer-centricity)
are key aspects of this evolution. This balanced
approach will allow decision-makers to strategically
manage resources across emerging and proven
quantum technologies.
