Participants in the Global Collaboration
Village were enthusiastic about its powerful
communication and engagement benefits.
Over its life cycle, the Global Collaboration Village
hosted around 70 events, including Annual
Meetings, youth gatherings, thematic summits and
strategic partner workshops. Participation occurred
both remotely and onsite, with engagement
deepening as the platform evolved.
Participation drew from a diverse global network –
representing more than 60 countries and a wide
mix of Forum stakeholders, including executives,
government officials, partner representatives, and
youth and civil society voices from the Global South.
Participant feedback described the Village as
“insightful”, “transformative” and “a powerful step
forward for digital collaboration”.
2.1 Impact pathways
Outcomes and achievements
The Village’s design was anchored in an impact
pathway built around four key pillars: insight,
engagement, collaboration and trust in technology.
Outcomes related to these four pillars were tracked
over time through participant surveys and user insights. Further detail on these and other examples can be
