Sustainable Development Impact Summit 2024 During the Sustainable Development Impact Meetings 2024, the Schwab Foundation for Social Entrepreneurship hosted a session entitled “Social Economy and the Road to G20”, in collaboration with the G20 for Impact Coalition, a global alliance of 40 leading national and international organizations reaching over 1 billion people worldwide. The session aimed to encourage G20 countries to harness the potential of social entrepreneurship to advance an inclusive, equitable and regenerative economy. It also served as a timely platform for stakeholders involved in Brazil’s 2024 G20 presidency to engage with counterparts from South Africa, paving the way for the continuation of the G20 social initiative under South Africa’s upcoming presidency, with sustained engagement of social entrepreneurs at its core.
