Optimizing agri deep-tech ecosystems5 Supporting agri deep-tech use cases requires well-functioning ecosystems with strong foundations. Strengthening agri deep-tech ecosystems demands a multipronged approach across five pillars: 1) policy and regulations; 2) finance and investments; 3) human capital; 4) data and digital infrastructure; and 5) innovation support. The table below highlights optimization opportunities to support the conceptualization of ideas, de-risking of pilots and commercialization. Feedback loops are critical for improving agri deep-tech solutions. At Digital Green, we are enabling this through reinforcement learning from human feedback, an approach that integrates human inputs alongside machine learning approaches to fine- tune and contextualize AI models. This isn’t a one-time activity, but something that should be continuous as agriculture keeps evolving. Governments could play a big role in encouraging quality, representative AI-supported advisory by dedicating local human resources from universities and agriculture agencies in these kinds of processes.
