Defenders of Wildlife will present an educational program on wolves and wolf recovery in the northwestern U.S., including the Klamath-Siskiyou region. WinterSpring, the Center for Living with Loss and Grief will offer the series which is intended for people who have experienced loss due to death or other causes that make the holiday season difficult. Pre-registration is necessary. For location and registration, call 772-2527. · ELKS LODGE TO HOST VETERANS ON VETERANS DAY at 5 p.m. November 11 at the Elks Lodge, 255 E. Main St., Ashland. The Elks will be serving a spaghetti dinner and requesting, though not requiring, that attendees bring a holiday gift for patients of the Veterans Administration Hospital in White City. Gift suggestions include socks, t-shirts, undershorts, sport shirts, stationery, and checks made out to Ashland Elks Veterans Holiday Fund.
