We are currently doing a school project that entails planning a vacation to your fine state. We would greatly appreciate any information or memorabilia that your generous readers could send. Jason Lintner Bryana Arellano WMMS c/o Schulte & Mclens 1170 Fargo Ave. San Leandro, Ca. 94579 Withdrawing invite is a 'civil It's interesting that conservative talk show host Lars Larson feels his Second Amendment rights have been violated because professor Steinle rescinded an invitation to participate in a scheduled event at SOU. Mr. Larson threatens to literally make a federal case of it because he resents being asked not to carry his handgun onto campus. I'm wondering if Mr. Larson would object to the professor's action if he had simply been told he was too obnoxious to participate. Would he sue if he were told there had been a change of plans and his services just weren't required after all, without any stated reason? As an advocate for individual rights, surely Mr. Larson would support an individual's right to withdraw an invitation if they happened to have a change of heart. Presumably, this sort of thing happens to him all the time.
