By Ryan Pfeil Mail Tribune December 23. 2014 11:32AM Train hits truck in Central Point crossing; driver flees A Central Oregon Pacific train hit a truck in the Pine Street crossing in Central Point Wednesday morning. Mail Tribune / Ryan Pfeil Update, 11:20 a.m.:  The owner of the Chevy pickup that was struck by the train is Terry Lee Wilsie, 51, of the 2600 block of Hanley Road, Central Point, according to Driver and Motor Vehicle Services records.   11 a.m.: A slow-moving Central Oregon Pacific train struck a 1992 Chevy 1500 pickup truck this morning in a crossing at Pine and Front streets in Central Point and the driver fled into a nearby neighborhood. It is not yet known whether the driver was still in the truck when it was struck, but police apparently have located him. The crash knocked the truck out of the crossing but the train is still blocking traffic on Pine Street west of Highway 99 behind the Grange Co-op.
