The result was based on a study analyzing menu prices at six major takeaway chains – McDonald’s, Burger King, Chipotle, Chick-fil-A, Taco Bell, and Domino’s – to create a comprehensive affordability index, awarding each state a score out of a possible 10 points. Oregon Scores 4.47 Out of 10 Oregon is the 10 th least affordable state, with a score of 4.47 on the affordability scale index. The cheapest state in the country for fast food is Mississippi, scoring 10/10, offering consistently budget-friendly takeout prices for residents. California ranks as the most expensive, with an overall score of 0.41. California scored particularly poorly for Chick-fil-A affordability, with 1.44, and Chipotle at 1.87. These results are revealed by Chicksx.com , a crypto exchange platform, which found that the most reasonably priced fast food outlets in Oregon are Chipotle (7.15) and Taco Bell (6.65).
