There are reasonable prices, great variety and expert gardening advice. Find Mother's Day bouquets, annuals, perennials, shrubs, vegetable starts and more. A local food truck will be on site. Firewise Clean-Up Day: The Wildfire Mitigation Commission, Recology Ashland and Ashland Fire & Rescue present the fifth annual Firewise Clean-Up Day from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday, April 30, at Valley View Transfer Station, 3000 N. Valley View Road, Ashland. Prevent the spread of wildfire within the city of Ashland. Remove leaves, pine needles, small branches, brush and other yard debris and drop off free of charge. Bring an ID which shows your name and Ashland address, and green debris that meets the guidelines. Prohibited materials include trash, stumps, logs, firewood and treated lumber. Schneider Museum of Art: The exhibit "In Scene" runs through June 11 and features eight artists who explore the state of the natural world in modern times through video, installation, site-specific outdoor installation, sculpture and photograms. The museum is located uphill from the intersection of Siskiyou Boulevard and Indiana Street on the Southern Oregon University campus in Ashland. Regular museum hours are Monday through Saturday, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Museum admission is by a suggested donation of $5. Free Family Day from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday, April 30, features family-friendly activities and scavenger hunts to engage visitors in the current exhibition. The concert is musically interwoven with Kurt Schwitter’s vocally virtuosic Ur Sonata. Each piece in the program contains its own type of virtuosity for various pitched and unptiched percussion.
