A police spokesperson said that Zimmerman was not the shooter, and that Zimmerman was taken to a hospital with minor injuries. Police identified the shooter as Matthew Apperson. QUOTE OF NOTE "(Dzhokhar Tsarnaev) said no one deserves to suffer like they did,” Sister Helen Prejean testified today at the Boston Marathon bombings trial’s sentencing phase, speaking of her meetings with the convicted bomber. Prejean said Tsarnaev’s remorse seemed “absolutely sincere,” and that his voice was full of pain. Jurors must decide whether to sentence Tsarnaev to death, or to life in prison.
