Interment will be at Eagle Point National Cemetery, Eagle Point, Oregon. Mrs. Duncan was born April 13, 1923 in Pittsburgh, PA to Lois and Harry Wilson. She graduated from Perry High School in June of 1941 where she was very interested in Drama and played the lead in the Senior class play "The Late Christopher Bean". Mrs. Duncan worked for 15 years in the billing department of the Koppers Coal Company in Pittsburgh. In 1956 the family moved to Corona Del Mar, CA. She worked for 32 years at the United California Bank in Corona Del Mar. In 1987, after her marriage to Bruce Duncan, she moved to Talent, Oregon in the Mountain View Estates. Her interests include reading and the study of the American Civil War (1861- 1865). She has given many American Civil War talks to Genealogical and Historical Societies. Mrs. Duncan has written many full length plays and has produced and directed many of them for church and institutional benefits. Memorial contributions may be made to Trinity Episcopal Church, 44 North Second Street, Ashland, Oregon 97520. Arrangements: Litwiller-Simonsen Funeral Home, Ashland. Ruth A. Wright The memorial service for Ruth Adda Wright will be 1 p.m. Saturday, April 9, 2005 at the Litwiller-Simonsen Funeral Home, Ashland. Interment will be at Mountain View Cemetery, Ashland. Mrs. Wright was born April 13, 1913 at Elliott, South Dakota the daughter of Frank and Delilah Warren. She was raised and attended schools in Ashland and was married to Merritt Paris. They lived in Newton, Iowa until 1962 when Mr. Paris died and Ruth returned to Ashland. On April 2, 1972 at Reno, Nevada she married Marvin Wright and they moved to Yreka, California. Mr. & Mrs. Wright owned Wright Way Mobile Homes where she was the home decorator and designer. In 2001 they moved to Medford. Mrs. Wright enjoyed music, reading and time with family. While in Ashland she was a member of the Elketts with the Ashland Elks Lodge. Surviving in addition to her husband, Marvin of Medford are; three sons, Warren Paris of Iowa City, Iowa, Jay Paris of Medford, OR, and Don Paris of Jackson, CA; two brothers, Leonard Warren of Medford and Charles Warren of Oroville, CA; nine grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren. In addition to her first husband, she was preceded in death by two sisters and three brothers. Funeral arrangements under the direction of the Litwiller-Simonsen Funeral Home, Ashland.
