Wednesday between 4 p.m. and 10:30 p.m. an Ashland woman reported someone stole a black and white female California king snake from her home in the 800 block of Clay Street. Wednesday 4:30 p.m. — An Ashland woman reported her daughter as a runaway. Wednesday 12:05 p.m. — Ashland Fire and Rescue responded to a fire at Campus Cleaners and Laundry at 1465 Siskiyou Blvd. Smoke from the fire filled two other businesses and caused about $5,000 damage. Wednesday 10:02 a.m. — Police viewed two counts of graffiti in the 300 block of Pioneer Street. Police also viewed graffiti in the 200 block of Pioneer Street earlier in the morning. Wednesday 9:38 a.m. — Ashland Fire and Rescue helped employees of the Ashland Street Cinema remove smoke from the building after a build-up of dust in the theater's heating system filled the building with smoke.
