Sirotkin, who has been to North Korea multiple times and worked with Congress and the State Department to, according to an event announcement, "move from reaction to relationship," is a co-founder of the Ashland Culture of Peace Commission (ACPC) and a TV commentator.His recent book "Witness: A Lawyer's Journey from Litigation to Liberation" presents a 12-step model for peace in Korea.Attendees will learn more about what they can do and why there has been no peace on the Korean peninsula. The gathering takes place two days after a summit meeting between the presidents of North and South Korea and no long before a planned summit meeting between the U.S. and North Korean presidents.The free, public discussion is sponsored by the Ubuntuworks Peace Education Project and the ACPC.
