Ashland Police and Fire 11:06 p.m. Monday - Four juveniles cited for minor in possession of alcohol, two juveniles arrested for assault and harassment, 200 block S. Mountain Avenue. Noon Monday - Ashland female, 54, cited and released for DUII and two counts of hit and run after hitting two parked vehicles, N. Main and Water streets. 11:40 a.m. Monday - Vandalism to forklift and windows at SOU library reported. Estimated cost of damage: $1,000. 5:17 p.m. Sunday - Ashland resident reported attempted break in at residence, 300 block Orange Street. Estimated cost of damage to back steel door and knob, $200. Jackson County Fire District No. 5 1:02 p.m. Monday - Powerline down and fire, 1900 block Pioneer Road. 12:08 p.m. Monday - Tree down in powerline and fire, 3000 block Pioneer Road. 11:59 a.m. Monday - Grass fire, 5000 block Dark Hollow Road. 9:33 a.m. Monday - Smoke investigation, 2000 block S. Pacific Highway.
