Ashland Police and Fire 4:45 a.m. Wednesday - Adult male arrested for assault and menacing, 400 block Euclid Street. Subject lodged in Jackson County Jail. 10:25 p.m. Tuesday - Adult male arrested for assault and harassment, 900 block Clay Street. Subject lodged in Jackson County Jail. 9:26 p.m. Tuesday - Eugene male, 36, cited and released for possession of less than an ounce of marijuana, Lithia Park, near lower duck pond. 3:31 p.m. Tuesday - Ashland male, 52, cited and released for a municipal warrant and drinking in public, 100 block Garfield Street. 3 p.m. Tuesday - Unknown person or persons entered vehicle and stole stereo valued at $65, and amplifier valued at $75; 70 block Wightman Street. 1:48 p.m. Tuesday - Unknown person or persons stole a blue Cannondale mountain bike off of a fenced patio, 400 block Chestnut Street. Bike valued at $850. Noon Tuesday - Ashland male, 21, arrested on eight Ashland Municipal Court warrants, 300 block Clay Street. Subject lodged in Jackson County Jail. 10 a.m. Tuesday - Two "Head in parking only" signs found in Ashland Creek, 50 block Winburn Way. Signs valued at $100 each. 7:30 a.m. Tuesday - Unknown person or persons stole a propane barbecue from deck of business, 3000 block Highway 66. Barbecue valued at $200. 6:30 a.m. Tuesday - Unknown person or persons entered a locked display case and stole a jacket belonging to the Oregon Shakespeare Festival, 2200 block Ashland Street. Value of jacket not established. 4:28 a.m. Tuesday - Ashland male, 22, arrested after attempting to enter a vehicle. Subject fled on a bicycle before being detained and lodged in Jackson County Jail. Ashland Fire and Rescue 7:09 p.m. Tuesday - AFR responded along with Jackson County Fire District No. 5 to a near drowning incident at Immigrant Lake.
