ASHLAND POLICE & FIRE 5:30 p.m. Tuesday - Report of a vehicle striking a boy on YMCA Way at Ashland Street. The boy suffered minor injuries. The driver of the vehicle was cited for failure to stop at a traffic control device. 4:05 p.m. Tuesday - A car was stopped for a traffic violation on Highway 66. The driver, a Phoenix man, 21, had an outstanding warrant for violation of his conditional release from a Washington jail. The man was arrested for the violation and taken to the Jackson County Jail.
