The man admitted using marijuana and was cited for driving under the influence of a controlled substance. 3 p.m. Thursday - Laptop computer stolen from the Main Street Laundromat on Tuesday was recovered by police. 12:35 p.m. - Ashland man, 27, who swerved to avoid hitting a deer on Highway 66 at Milepost 3. The car traveled into a ditch, causing minor damage to the vehicle. 8:15 p.m. Wednesday - Report of a car that struck a median and proceeded to hit a parked BMW at the Omar's parking lot on Siskiyou Boulevard. Damage to both vehicles was estimated at more than $1,000.
