Saturday, 1:44 a.m. — Police responded to the corner of North Pioneer and "B" streets for a detox hold. Saturday, 2:35 a.m. — A 33-year-old man was arrested at the corner of Oak and "A" streets for driving under the influence of intoxicants. Saturday, 3 a.m. — An adult woman was taken into protective custody in the 2300 block of Ashland Street. Friday, 4:53 a.m. — Police assisted Ashland Community Hospital with a detox transport in the 200 block of Maple Street. Saturday, 9:04 a.m. — A 27-year-old man was arrested in the 200 block of North First Street on a charge of second-degree trespass. Saturday, 11:05 a.m. — A hit and run was reported in the 400 block of Catalina Drive. Saturday, 12:49 p.m. — Police investigated a domestic violence assault in the 900 block of Oak Street and arrested a juvenile male on menacing and fourth-degree assault charges. Sunday, 12:13 a.m. — A 30-year-old man was arrested on charges of first-degree theft and conspiracy to commit first-degree theft at the corner of Ray Lane and Homes Avenue. A 26-year-old woman was also arrested on a charge of first-degree conspiracy to commit theft. Both were lodged at the Jackson County Jail. Sunday, 1:14 a.m. — A 21-year-old man was arrested on a warrant at the corner of Wightman and Iowa streets. Sunday, 6 a.m. — A 57-year-old male was arrested for driving under the influence of intoxicants in the 1200 block of Siskiyou Boulevard. Sunday, 3:59 p.m. — A 54-year-old man was arrested for interfering with a police officer and improper use of 911 in the 2300 block of Ashland Street. Sunday, 7:14 p.m. — A 24-year-old man was arrested on charges of tampering with a witness and harassment in the first block of Emerick Street and lodged in the Jackson County Jail. Sunday, 11:04 a.m. — Ashland police investigated the theft of two rolling luggage bags valued at about $1,000 from a parked pickup truck in the 300 block of Bridge Street. Sunday, 1:38 p.m. — Police investigated the theft of sound and music equipment from a church in the 1600 block of Clark Avenue. Sunday, 2:54 p.m. — Police investigated "confidential child abuse" in the 500 block of Clay Street. Sunday, 3 p.m. — A theft was reported in the 100 block of East Main Street. Sunday, 9:45 p.m. — A theft was reported at the corner of Walker Avenue and Ashland Street.
