--> --> BREAKING NEWS: Bush calls for national day of prayer President Bush has declared Friday a "national day of prayer and remembrance" and asked Americans to spend their lunch breaks taking part in services at their chosen places of worship, said White House spokesman Ari Fleischer. Bush began his day with a round of calls to world leaders to receive condolences and seek support for the United States as it struggles to recover from the most devastating terrorist attack in its history. Bush called Crown Prince Abdullah of Saudi Arabia, NATO Secretary-General Lord Robertson and Prime Ministers Junichiro Koizumi of Japan and Silvio Berlusconi of Italy. Fleischer said the calls were part of Bush's effort to assemble an international coalition against terrorism.
