Ashland's "Give a Kid a Lift" Campaign was a great success. In addition to the many donors who contributed to the scholarship fund allowing area kids to participate in the Mt. Ashland After School Ski and Snowboarding program, we want to acknowledge two local establishments who continually demonstrate their support of youth in our region. Thanks to Geppetto's and Standing Stone Brewing Co. for their generosity during the campaign. Our campaign volunteers appreciated the delicious food they provided us during the campaign events and meetings. Ron Roth (Geppetto's) and Emile Amarotico (Standing Stone) are business leaders who understand the importance of providing opportunities for all kids to learn to ski/snowboard on our community mountain. We thank them for their effort and support.
