Known for their beautiful, fiery and transcendent Celtic fusion, Mandrell and Rafferty have been featured on Public Radio International's "Echoes" with host John Diliberto. As Diliberto put it, "Michael and Charlie are the acoustic musicians playing Indian modalities with a Celtic lilt, their music circles the globe in imagistic compositions." Featuring acoustic guitar, Uillean Pipes, flutes and the Irish whistle, Mandrell and Rafferty will explore the realm of modern and traditional Celtic music, featuring a world acoustic music tour from Welsh mythos to Hindustani rhythms. Joining these two musicians will be Tejada-Flores on world percussion. The group is known for its on-stage synergy. Tickets are $12 at the door and also available at Soundpeace and The Music Coop.
