--> --> June 27: Fundraiser soccer game to be held at Phillips Field Ashland Daily Tidings In an attempt to raise money for lights at the North Mountain Park soccer field, the Ashland Soccer Club is bringing top level soccer to Ashland. The game will be held July 10 at Phillips Field and will pit the Cascade Surge against the Rogue Valley's Liga Del Valle Fuego. The Surge is a team from Salem that is from the semi-pro Premier Development League. The team is a semi-professional squad for Major League Soccer and features a number of high caliber international players. The Fuego is the top-ranked team in one of the valley's most competitive amateur soccer leagues. The game will start at 8 p.m. and tickets are now available at Rogue Valley Soccer Shop in Medford and at Paddington Station in Ashland. The price is $5 for adults and $2 for children.
