Gran t for quilts The members of Quilts from Caring Hands would like to thank Target for the generous grant they recently awarded us. The grant will allow us to purchase necessary materials to make many quilts, which we donate to children at risk in the local area. We appreciate their desire to support community organizations. Their generosity benefits QCH as well as the children who receive the quilts. Thank you for your support of our project. June Nielson Quilts from Caring Hands Garage sale On behalf of the Chintimini Wildlife Rehabilitation Center, I would like to extend my sincere thanks to everyone who participated in our recent very successful garage sale. Special thanks to Phyllis Heil for coordinating the event and to Mr. Mario Pastega for allowing us the use of the space to hold the sale. Many thanks to all the Chintimini volunteers who helped collect and sell garage sale items: Russ and Shirley Picton, Fred Heil, Barbara Robinson, Kathy Baker, Tara Woolridge, Judy Radovsky and Christina Herrmann. And thanks to all the people who donated items for the sale. We truly appreciate all the time and energy these good people put into this event and will use the proceeds to provide care for Oregon's injured and orphaned wildlife.
