Letters to the Editor: Outrage over U.S. wanting to lead Iraq rebuilding I cannot believe the arrogance of this administration to assume that America should be the only country involved in the aftermath of this miserable war. Who does America think it is? The ruler of the Earth? I would strongly prefer that the reconstruction of Iraq be a collaborative, international effort lead by the U.N. and not just the Pentagon. What enormous gall gives Donald Rumsfeld, Paul Wolfowitz, Richard Perle and others like them the belief that the Pentagon should be the only player in the reconstruction effort. Do they live in a tunnel? Do they not see how we have already alienated most of the rest of the planet by our outrageous actions in this war so far? Bush Being an Idiot and Iraqis Needlessly Dying." I've been hard pressed to find anything other than rants on these topics as of late. Dave Cassidy, Ashland   Thanks for more recycling options I want to thank Ashland Sanitary and Recycling for now offering recycling of cereal and other boxes at the recycling center! I went there today and was thrilled to see that cereal boxes, egg cartons and mixed paper can now all be put into the same dumpster. I know they were looking for another vendor that would accept these recyclables and it is great to see that they were successful. Thank you Ashland Sanitary and Recycling for offering more opportunities to recycle our trash and keep it out of the landfill.
