Wednesday afternoon — Damage to lock at Azteca restaurant, 2300 block of Ashland Street. Wednesday 12:02 p.m. — Fixed box pulled off wall and stolen at the Mountain Meadows Community, 800 block of Mountain Meadows Drive. The theft occurred between 5 p.m. Tuesday and 10:15 a.m. Wednesday. Wednesday 11:42 a.m. — Cash box with $100 cash and $40 worth of stamps stolen from behind the desk at Mountain Meadows Community, 800 block of Mountain Meadows Drive. The theft occurred between 5 p.m. Monday and 11 a.m. Tuesday. Wednesday 8:56 a.m. — Vehicle stolen from garage, 300 block of Terrace Street. The vehicle was later located unoccupied by the Medford Police Department. Other items were stolen from the garage and a second vehicle. Wednesday 8:35 a.m. — Handicap placard stolen from vehicle, 200 block of Gresham Street. The theft occurred between 3 p.m. Tuesday and 8:30 a.m. Wednesday. Wednesday 12:47 a.m. — Bomb threat called into employee at Wendy’s restaurant, 1600 block of Ashland Street. After a search of the facility, police officers were unable to locate an incendiary device. Jackson County Fire Dist. 5 5:30 p.m. — Lightening strike caused a small fire, 400 block of Carmen Road, Talent. Oregon State Police Sunday 3 a.m. — Talent boy, 15, who did not have a valid driver’s license and may be in the United States illegally involved in single-car accident on Interstate 5 near milepost 14. The boy fell asleep at the wheel, lost control of the vehicle and traveled several hundred yards in a ditch before rolling the vehicle. He sustained head injuries and was taken to Rogue Valley Medical Center. Citations will be issued later.
