--> --> Lo Duca lifts Dodgers over Giants SAN FRANCISCO (AP) - The Los Angeles Dodgers' heads were down after they blew a five-run lead. That depression turned to jubilation when Paul Lo Duca led them to an impressive comeback victory. Lo Duca drove in a career-high six RBIs on four hits as the Dodgers snapped a four-game losing streak Tuesday night with a 14-8 victory over the San Francisco Giants. What began as a duel between star pitchers Kevin Brown and Shawn Estes ended as an offensive field day featuring three extended rallies and the biggest offensive output of the season for Los Angeles, which had 18 hits and scored nine runs in the final three innings after blowing a five-run lead. "That's the biggest win by far we've had season," said Lo Duca, who had a two-run homer and a three-run double. "This could change our whole season around." The Dodgers got five runs in the seventh after San Francisco, which had a hit in each of the first seven innings, scored six times in the sixth to take an 8-5 lead. Los Angeles added four more in the ninth, highlighted by Lo Duca's homer into the left-field stands. "When they scored those six runs, everybody's heads were down in the dugout," Lo Duca said. "But we didn't give up, and we came back strong. They deflated us, and we deflated them back." The Giants didn't get any help from Barry Bonds, who went homerless in three straight games for the first time since June 8-10. Bonds, who leads the majors with 39 homers, didn't get the ball out of the infield in five trips to the plate, going 0-for-4 with two strikeouts. He was intentionally walked in the sixth, and he struck out against Jesse Orosco in the eighth. The Giants' bullpen couldn't hold a three-run lead in the seventh. Instead, it was pounded for nine runs and 10 hits as San Francisco lost for just the fourth time in 14 games. A string of close games finally caught up to the Giants' relievers. "Our bullpen is kind of spent," Giants manager Dusty Baker said. "We gave Felix (Rodriguez) the night off. (Aaron) Fultz had pitched in four of the last five. I wanted to use (losing pitcher) Tim Worrell in a short setup role." Shawn Green - who had three hits, scored three runs and drove in two - cut the lead to 8-6 with an RBI single in the seventh. After Gary Sheffield, down 0-2 in the count, drew a walk from Tim Worrell (1-2), Lo Duca cleared the bases with a drive into the left-field corner. "That whole inning, the way we came back like that, I'm sure that's something we'll look back on and say that it was a major difference in our season," Dodgers manager Jim Tracy said. "I was very encouraged by the things I saw from some of the guys in our lineup that had been searching." One Dodger who hasn't been searching is Lo Duca, who started at first base for the second straight night. He's 21-for-52 (.404) with 17 RBIs in his last 12 games, and he's 9-for-20 with 11 RBIs against the Giants this season. "Lo Duca has been a thorn in our side all year long," Baker said. "It isn't like we haven't tried everything with Lo Duca, but he seems to be hitting all sorts of pitches against us." Rich Aurilia had four hits and four RBIs as the Giants' seven-game home winning streak was snapped. He had a two-run single during San Francisco's rally in the sixth, a double and a two-run homer. Brown struck out seven and allowed eight hits in his first start since May 29. The Dodgers' ace, who came off the disabled list on Sunday, was chased by three straight Giants hits leading off the sixth. Jeff Kent, who has 14 hits in his last seven games, got two hits in the sixth inning, leading it off with a double and later driving in Aurilia. Al Reyes (1-0), in his second appearance with Los Angeles since he was acquired from Baltimore earlier this month, got the victory with three strikeouts in two scoreless innings. The Giants' rally erased a shaky start by Estes, who gave up five runs and eight hits in six innings. The Dodgers jumped on Estes - who led the majors in home ERA before the game - for four runs. Los Angeles' first five batters got hits, with Lo Duca and Jeff Reboulet hitting RBI doubles. Email your...
