ASHLAND POLICE & FIRE 1:02 a.m. Thursday - Ashland man, 36, charged with assault and menacing after allegedly cutting another man on the neck with a lock-back knife, 100 block East Main Street, second man, 20, charged with interfering with the investigation and disorderly conduct, victim did not need medical attention, both men were lodged in Jackson County Jail. 4:38 a.m. Wednesday - Unknown person entered vehicle and stole golf clubs valued at $300, Lithia Way and Pioneer Street. 6 p.m. Wednesday - Toolbox with tools valued at $140 taken from storage unite, 00 block Shamrock Lane. 3:48 p.m. Wednesday - Bicycle valued at $50 taken from Walker Elementary School. 8 a.m. Wednesday - Stereo faceplate valued at $100 taken from vehicle, Iowa Street and Mountain Avenue. 10:45 a.m. Wednesday - $50 in cash and merchandise taken from restaurant, 200 block East main Street.
