Ashland Police and Fire 11:32 p.m. Sunday - Woman in yard of apartment complex hit in back and arm by projectiles, possibly from b.b. or pellet gun, 1300 block Quincy Street. 5:52 p.m. Sunday - Transient male, 32, arrested after breaking a window at business, 200 block East Main. Subject lodged in Jackson County Jail. 1:27 a.m. Sunday - Male subject found asleep on bench in Plaza deemed too intoxicated to care for self; transported to detox. 7:22 p.m. Saturday - Unknown person or persons entered vehicle and stole purse, 1500 block Siskiyou Boulevard. Purse and contents valued at $400. 5:58 p.m. Saturday - Ashland male, 22, cited and released for having two puppies in Lithia Park. 1:50 p.m. Saturday - Male yellow Labrador mix dog with no collar transported from Ashland Middle School to Jackson County Animal Control. 4:33 a.m. Saturday - While investigating a vehicle with the dome light left on, officer heard a loud party in a nearby house, 1300 block Iowa Street. Upon contacting the resident, officer saw two marijuana pipes in plain view and smelled a marijuana odor. Resident cited for possession of less than an ounce of marijuana. 4 p.m. Friday - Resident reported that neighbor poured motor oil on his driveway in retaliation over a civil dispute, 700 block Oak Street. Estimated clean up cost: $200. Phoenix Police Department 7 p.m. Friday - Stolen cell phone reported at business, 100 block N. Main Street. During investigation of the incident, officer called cell phone number, at which time the phone was found in the pocket of a Medford male, 42, who was then leaving the establishment. Subject arrested and lodged in Jackson County Jail.
