This award-winning 15-member group lends its talents to a wide spectrum of chamber music repertoire, performing more than 100 concerts a year. Chamber Music Concerts was founded in 1984 and has earned a reputation as one of the country's premier chamber music series. CMC presents six to eight concerts each season, offering such internationally renowned artists as the Tokyo and Juilliard String Quartets. The organization is governed by a volunteer advisory board and employs a director. Membership and corporate donations supplement ticket sale revenue, which averages 90 percent of seat capacity in the acoustically excellent Music Recital Hall. The concert will feature "Coup d'Archet" by Gougeon; "Variations on a Theme of Frank Bridge, Op. 10" by Britten; "Three Pieces" by Bloch; and, "Serenade for Strings in C Major, Op. 48" by Tchaikovsky: To join the CMC membership and order tickets, visit the CMC office, or phone 552-6154.
