ASHLAND POLICE & FIRE 1:14 a.m. Wednesday - Car accident, Ashland and Morton streets, driver lost brakes on vehicle and crashed, transported to Rogue Valley Medical Center. Tuesday - After making a vehicle stop for inoperative lighting, police found two kinds of drugs and methamphetamine paraphernalia, case referred to District Attorney's office. 9:10 p.m. Tuesday - DUII, East Main and 2nd streets, Ashland woman, 26 cited and released to a sober adult. 1:41 p.m. Tuesday - Transient man, 36, cited for possession of less than an ounce of marijuana, Pioneer and Fork streets.
