Bachelor. Lindsay Warren came in fourth in the giant slalom and sixth in the slalom to lead the Grizzlies. Warren finished fourth in the combined scoring. Teammate Isabella Thorndike placed ninth in the combined and fellow Grizz Eleanor Buell was 30th in the event. On the boys' side, Ashland's Justin Greenberg was 16th in both the slalom and the giant slalom. He finished 13th in the combined scoring. The state championships drew more than 200 competitors: 98 girls and 114 boys. Combined 13, Greenberg; 64, Grimaldi Prep Wrestling Phoenix High senior Ricky Farrell has been invited to compete at the first Oregon-California All-Star Wrestling Meet to be held at Shasta College Redding, California, on Saturday. The dual meet will feature the best high school senior wrestlers from Oregon and California in each weight class. Wrestlers will also take part in a morning wrestling clinic. Farrell, who wrestles at 171 pounds, is a four-time state qualifier and a three-time state placer he placed eight as sophomore, second as a junior and second as a senior. Other Southern Oregon participants include Grants Pass Highs' Tyler Banks and Crater High's Ronnie Lee. Boys Basketball The Ashland High boys varsity basketball team had the sixth-highest team grade point average in the state. Their combined GPA was 3.51.
