Bicyclist Struck and Killed by RV on Highway 140 Near Central Point News By Diane Megaw On Oct 21, 2025 JACKSON COUNTY, Ore. — A Central Point bicyclist, 37-year-old Wesley Mad Olngellel, died on Saturday on Highway 140, near milepost 4, in Jackson County after being hit by a Freightliner recreational vehicle (motorhome). Oregon State Police (OSP), assisted by the Jackson County Sheriff’s Office, which responded to reports of a vehicle versus bicycle crash at 2:44 p.m., indicated that their preliminary investigation revealed the eastbound motorhome, operated by 57-year-old Richard Fay McCoy of Central Point, struck Olngellel, who was in the eastbound lane of travel.
