Jackson County commissioner candidate Amy Thuren will meet with residents from 5 to 6:30 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 18, at the Ashland Public Library, 410 Siskiyou Blvd., as part of “listening tour” of the county, which started in Central Point last Thursday. Thuren is currently executive director of The Valley School in Medford, and has been active in the community for more than 16 years, according an event announcement released by her campaign.
