Friday, 8:17 a.m. — A first-degree theft by deception was reported in the 600 block of Lit Way. Friday, 2:58 p.m. — A 25-year-old man was cited on charges of scattering rubbish within the enhanced law enforcement area and public nudity in the 100 block of Will Dodge Way. He was arrested for providing false information to a police officer and interfering with an officer. Friday, 6:18 p.m. — A found LG Nexus smartphone was dropped off at the downtown police contact station. Friday, 7:58 p.m. — An assault was reported in the 100 block of Fifth Street. Saturday, 2:08 a.m. — A 35-year-old man was arrested on a charge of DUII-alcohol in the area of Lithia Way and North First Street. Saturday, 2:01 p.m. — A restraining order violation was reported in the 100 block of Fourth Street. Saturday, 5:37 p.m. — A 27-year-old man, 32-year-old man, 23-year-old woman, 21-year-old man and a female juvenile were all cited on charges of drinking in public and open container of alcohol in the first block of East Main Street. The 27-year-old man was additionally arrested on a charge of furnishing alcohol to a minor, and the man was arrested again about 40 minutes later for improper use of 9-1-1. Sunday, 12:41 a.m. — Police responded to a party in the 400 block of Euclid Avenue. A female juvenile was cited on charges of unnecessary noise, providing a place for minors to consume alcohol, minor in possession of alcohol by consumption and interfering with a police officer. A male juvenile was cited on a charge of minor in possession of alcohol. Sunday, 2:14 a.m. — A 21-year-old man was arrested on a charge of DUII-alcohol in the area of Siskiyou Boulevard and Sherman Street. Sunday, 2:34 a.m. — A 19-year-old man was cited for minor in possession of alcohol by consumption and scattering rubbish in the first block of Wightman Street. Sunday, 1:13 p.m. — A male juvenile was arrested on a charge of shoplifting food at the Ashland Food Co-op in the 200 block of North First Street. Sunday, 3:11 p.m. — A phone was found in the area of Euclid Street, and delivered to the police station. Sunday, 4:55 p.m. — A 56-year-old woman was arrested on a charge of theft of services in the first block of North Main Street. Sunday, 9:19 p.m. — A 22-year-old man was arrested on charges of second-degree criminal mischief and first-degree disorderly conduct in the 2300 block of Ashland Street. Monday, 11:42 a.m. — A 29-year-old man was cited on charges of second-degree burglary, second-degree trespassing and second-degree criminal mischief in the 100 block of Third Street. Monday, 1:17 p.m. — A 19-year-old woman was cited on a charge of failing to control her dog in the 100 block of East Main Street. Monday, 1:43 p.m. — A 19-year-old man was cited on skateboard regulations in the 100 block of East Main Street. Monday, 3:53 p.m. — A 36-year-old man, a 32-year-old woman and a 29-year-old man were cited on a charge of open container in the first block of Water Street. Monday, 5:17 p.m. — A 57-year-old man was cited on a charge of open container of alcohol in the first block of Winburn Way. Monday, 11:43 p.m. — A 24-year-old woman was arrested on a charge of first-degree theft ater she was suspected of stealing a bicycle in the area of Siskiyou Boulevard and University Way. She was lodged at the Jackson County Jail.
